n Spartan Basketball last night the 4 teams split:

 

The JV Boys hosted the Pythons and played them even for a quarter, but had a tough time keeping up after that.

The Varsity boys were tied at the half 19-19 and were down 34-31 after 3 quarters, but could not overcome the Pythons in a 47-38 loss. The Spartans jumped out to a 9-3 lead on baskets by Will O'Connell and Kenyon Sora. Tyler Constable led the defense stepping in on a few offensive fouls.

 

The JV girls beat Pelham 34-24, while the Varsity team beat the Pythons 61-49. Avery Fuller led the way with 21 points followed by Shea Hansen with 12 and Ellianna Nassy with 11
