Yesterday, the Swim Team hosted it one and only home meet of the season at Hampshire Hills with Souhegan. Today we would like to celebrate our Seniors Quinn Johnson, Danika Works and Jasmine Blay and they chose their events for the day.
Quinn Johnson's effort is one who stands out. He's been sick during the past week or so, and he chose to do the 50 free and 100 backstroke (an event that he has never done before). That is so brave, and he did it legally without a DQ
Danika Works chose to do the 50 free and 100 breaststroke. She doesn't love to do breaststroke, but is one of the few seasonal swimmers who is able to do it legally. And she gives it her best every time!
Jasmine Blay also is one who gives 100% effort all the time, and she has beautiful strokes with so much talent! She chose breaststroke and 50 freestyle today and had 2 good swims. The Seniors started the day in tropical attire for their senior swim.
The team will finish up at the D2 championships in two weeks at UNH.
