The Girls Basketball Teams hosted Merrimack Valley on Friday night. The Pride shot extremely well in the JV game and beat the Spartans 43-20, however the Spartans were able to win the second half. The Spartans started hot in the Varsity game, however Merrimack Valley battled back in the second half to send the game into overtime. Avery Fuller hit two key free throws with under 10 seconds to play to give the Spartans the win 51-50. Maggie Pelletier hit a key free throw at the end of regulation to send the game into overtime. Claire Cote also went 4 of 4 in the 4th quarter to help Milford and Shea Hansen led all scorers with 17 and 3, 3 point shots
The Boys teams traveled to Merrimack Valley. The JV team lost 43-34 and the Varsity boys had a shot to tie it at the end of the game, but went in and out. However, it was a valiant effort against the undefeated Pride.
The Swim Team again earned some more qualifying efforts at a meet at Keene State on Friday Night. For Milford, Willa Audley won 2 events, and now has 7 state meet cuts. Shilo Chappell had her best times in 2 events, and Iris Lemaire also recorded 2 personal best times. For the boys. Liam Cardin had 2 personal best times, and Jack Bastarache had a personal best time in the 50 freestyle and is closing in on a state meet cut in the 500 freestyle.
The Wrestling team made there way to Nashua South on Saturday for their invitational and placed 8th overall. The following individuals placed in the top 6th which also featured a number of D1 schools.

The Indoor track and field teams traveled to UNH on Sunday. Some top performances from the girl's side included a 7th place finish in the 55 hurdles by Isabella Cornaro. The 600m top finishes were from Rylee Coates in 7th, and not far behind was Cat Carter in 10th. Isabella Cornaro also placed 6th in the 300m. Zoe Rick finished 6th in the girl's shot put. The girl's 4x400 relay of Rylee Coates, Grace Muchuro, Cat Carter, and Isabella Cornaro placed 2nd, and the girl's 4x160 relay of Clara Barbetta, Leila Lassage, Riley Coates, and Isabella Cornaro finished in 4th.
The boys team placed second out of 12 teams and were only 1 point away from the overall win.Chase Paiva began the day with a 4th place finish in the 3000m. Avery Wilson won the 55 dash and Josh Pettingill and Kenyon Sora were 4th and 5th, respectively. Josh also took 6th in the 300m. Will Whitley took 2nd in the 1km. Logan Korthals won the 600m. Logan and Grant Skorupan placed 2nd and 3rd in the 1500m. The 4x4 of Logan,Will,Kenyon, and Avery won. The 4x160 of Marcus Hebert, Josh, Cam Lewicki, and Brendan Courtney took 6th.
The Bowling team traveled to Yankee Lanes in Keene. Annalise Silva pulled out a personal best and Tristan Xavapy scored triple digits in his first two games this year, and 4 spares in a row to highlight the team. Leila Whitley and Mailaki Ramirez also recorded a triple digit average.
The team of the week honors goes to the Milford-Alvirne Admirals who picked up two overtime wins this week. On Wednesday they beat Timberlane 9-8 and on Saturday, the beat Goffstown 7-6. Brayden Atwood picked up the game winner and had two goals on the night. Byce Larco, Dylan MacLeod and Mason Tomkins each had a goal. Chris Bozza had 2 assists and Bryce finished with one.
