Congratulations to the Boys Soccer Teams as both the Varsity and JV teams beat Bow yesterday afternoon here in Milford. The JV Team won in thrilling fashion 2-1 with 2 goals by Alvero Canas and an assist from Asher Maguire and Eben Barb. The Varsity team won 4-1 with 2 goals from Joonas Mangum and 2 by Avery Wilson. Vincent Arsenov also had two assists for the Spartans.
The Girls Varsity Team traveled to Bow and after a scoreless game for the first 73 minutes, Bow scored two goals which came to be enough in a 2-1 win for the Falcons.
The golf team hosted the first match of the year at Amherst Country Club yesterday afternoon, but could not top Hollis Brookline or Souhegan. After beating the Cavs in the last match, the Spartans were unable to duplicate the match. Jack Basarache took home honors for Milford with a 44.
The Field Hockey Team traveled to Souhegan High School last night. The Spartans had an uphill task but never quit. The JV team fell 1-0 but were right there the entire game.
