The boys varsity soccer team later played on the Stadium Field here in Milford and beat Pelham 3-2. Ky-Mani opened the scoring with a great volley assisted by Blake Stone. The team held that lead going into the half 1-0.  Pelham answered quickly in the second half to tie the game at one before Asher Maguire sent in a great cross from a corner,  which Matt Pettingell headed home to regain the lead 2-0. Pelham managed to tie the game again at 2 but Tiegen Barb scored the game winner from outside the box off an assist from Eric Arsenov to lead the Spartans to victory 3-2.

Steve Abair played a great game defensively for Milford.

 

On Saturday, the Cross Country Team traveled to Hollis for the Coach Korcoulis Memorial Invitatinal and the boys took 3rd place out of 6 teams.

Grant Skorupan won his first meet ever in a time of 16:58.6, and Joshua Coates finished in 2nd for Milford with an 8th place finish. Colin Kirby finished 12th, Brendan Courtney 19th and Jacob Elliot 34th to round out the scoring for Milford.

 

This Afternoon, the Field Hockey Team travels to Plymouth for a 4 pm games. Team members will be dismissed at 1:30 pm. The Boys Soccer Team will travel to Oyster River with the JV game at 5 pm and the Varsity to follow at 7 pm.
