The Girls Softball Team traveled to Merrimack Valley yesterday afternoon and came out hot with 3 runs in the top of the first inning, but the Pride bounced back with 4 of their own in the bottom of the 1st. Milford then went up 6-4 over the next two innings, but Merrimack Valley was able to peck away a run at a time to overtake the Spartans 7-6 after the 6th inning. The Spartans got runners on 3rd during the 6th and 7th, but could not get the big hit to bring them home. All in all, it was a great effort by the Spartans who were the 12th seed playing the #5 seed.
