Girls Tennis just missed another win but fell just short in a 5-4 loss to Goffstown
Winning for Milford were:
Ellie Nassy in #1 singles 8-6
Claire Cote in #2 singles 8-6
Jasmine Blay in #6 singles 8-2
Jasmine Blay/Jocelyn Shaw in #3 doubles 8-1
The Boys team traveled to St. Anselm's College for a match with Goffstown but could not beat the Grizzlies.
The Girls Lacrosse team opened their season at home today but could not hold off the Giants, but were able to score 3 goals by Payton Gaj, Paige Duby and Kaelyn Grzyb.
The Boys Lacrosse team traveled to Plymouth today. They could not beat the Bobcats but played with a lot of heart and teamwork today. Rocco Bartling made 7 saves in 3 quarters and Braeden Orlen scored the lone goal for Milford.
The Baseball Team battled back at Pelham today but lost 6-3. Bryce Larco was 2-2 with a double and two walks. Logan Howard had a double and two RBI's.
The Softball team beat Pelham_________? Alivia Mazzeo led the Spartans on the mound striking out 13 and allowing only 7 hits over 7 innings, and hit a home run to help her cause.
Molly Miles, Nadia Dutton, Teagan Goldstein, Mya Coombs and Haley Harrington had 2 hits each as the Spartans collected 16 on the afternoon.
The Track and Field Team hosted Pelham, Hollis Brookline, ConVal and Wilton Lyndeborough yesterday afternoon.
The Milford Track and Field teams each placed second out of 5 teams at their first home meet of the season.
Avery Wilson won the 100m, Josh Pettingell won the 200m and placed third in the 100m, Ethan Morin won the high jump, Cameron Lewicki got 2nd in the javelin, Kenyon Sora placed 3rd in the 200m, Grant Skorupan, Will Whitley, and Chase Paiva went 1-2-3 in the mile, Logan Korthals won the 800m, and the boys 4x400m relay team of Josh, Will, Logan, and Grant placed first.
On the girls side, Rylee Coates won the 400m and placed 2nd in the 200m, Trinity Millner won the Javelin, Jaylyn Paul won the mile, Kat Demmons won the Triple Jump and got 3rd in the long jump, and Zoe Rick placed 2nd in the shot put. The girls 4x100m relay of Clara Barbetta, Maielen Begolain Garay, Amelia Hebert, and Leila Lessage won their race and the girls 4x400m relay team of Bella Cornaro, Cat Carter, Grace Mucheru and Rylee Coates won as well. Special shout outs to Colin Kirby for a huge personal record in the mile and Leila Whitley for a gutsy race in the 800m.
